Critique of Judgement & Critique of Pure Reason are two major works by Emmanuel Kant. Kant 1724 -1804 was a German philosopher who publishes a number of works on ethics, religion, law, aesthetics, astronomy, and history. Kant’s Magnus Opus is the Critique of Pure Reason (originally written in German with the title: Kritik der reinen Vernunft from 1781), aimed to unite European thinking with experience to move beyond what he understood as failures of traditional philosophy and metaphysics. He set out to end an age of speculation where objects outside experience were used to support what he saw as futile theories, while opposing the skepticism of thinkers such as Descartes, Berkeley and Hume. The Urantia Papers – The Urantia Book or The Fifth Epochal Revelation

The Urantia Papers also know as The Urantia Book or The Fifth Epochal Revelation is a long and very strange book. It is said to be written sometime between 1924 and 1955 somewhere around Chicago. The author is unknown and there are many speculations about how it was written from sleeping mediums to plain materialization. The story itself is quite amusing, Wikipedia has an extended article about it here. The fascinating thing about the book is its precision and details about the life of Jesus and the construction of cosmos. The Urantia Papers consists of more than 2.200 pages. Download it here:

The Sacred Books of the East – all 50 volumes

The Sacred Books of the East is an enormous project undertaken by Max Müller and various authors from 1879 and 1910. The groups work was published by Oxford University Press and to this day many of the translations are the only ones existing or the most precise. It is not possible to buy the complete set of these works, but Google Books and Microsoft has done an effort to scan them all from library sources, since they are now in the Public Domain. Please keep in mind that these volumes are huge, some of the files are more than 50 MB and has up to 3.000 pages.

The Secret Doctrine by H.P. Blavatsky

The Secret Doctrine by H.P. Blavatsky is a double-volume work consisiting of the two books: Cosmogenesis and Antrhopogenesis. They where published in 1888 and Blavatsky claimed that the contents had been revealed to her by ‘mahatmas’ who had retained knowledge of mankind’s spiritual history, knowledge that it was now possible, in part, to reveal. The first part of the book explained the origin and evolution of the universe itself. The world and everything in it is supposed to alternate between periods of activity (manvantaras) and periods of passivity (pralayas). Each manvantara lasts many millions of years and consists of a number of Yugas, in accordance with Hindu cosmology. Blavatsky wanted to publish a third and fourth volume of The Secret Doctrine. After Blavatsky’s death, a controversial third volume of The Secret Doctrine was published by Annie Besant. Download The Secret Doctrine here (1.477 pages pdf):

Here are the Collected Works of the Mother in 17 volumes, more than 7.000 pages of:

The Mother, born Mirra Alfassa in 1878 in France, was the spiritual collaborator of Sri Aurobindo. I read some reviews of Keys to the Ultimate Freedom – Thoughts and Talks on Personal Transformation by Lester Levenson and seldom have I found such positive appraisals. For some people this book has been the single most important one in their lives. Lester Levenson developed the Sedona Method, his own method of achieving enlightenment, which he taught for years. This book is a combination of questions and answers from these sessions and talks on several topics.
