  1. Evelyn is a skillful writer who states the case for mysticism in a convincing manner. The book, though written 100 years ago reads well for current readers and the complex sentences though long are yet easy to understand.

Her deeper understanding of the mystic path seems to be limited by a commitment to a “practical” approach; introduction to a general audience being the defining factor, and she has done this marvelously. Even those more practiced in the mystic arts will find this book to be fascinating in helping them explain mysticism to the “common man.”
