This is Bhikkhu K. Nananandas Guide to Insight Meditaiton – Seeing Through. From the intro:
“Insight meditation paves the way to that penetrative wisdom which delivers the mind from bondage to Sarilsiira. This bondage often baffles the thinker because there is a ‘catch’ in the tools he has to take up to break it. Percepts are subtly elusive and concepts are tacitly delusive. So the insight worker has to forge his own tools to break this bondage, going the Buddha’s Middle Way.”
