Marie-Françoise-Thérèse Martin, was a French Carmelite nun. She is also known as “The Little Flower of Jesus”. St. Thérèse is known today because of her spiritual memoir, “Story of a Soul” or “The Story of the Springtime of a Little White Flower”, which she wrote upon the orders of two prioresses of her monastery, and because of the many miracles worked at her intercession. This is a wonderful life giving book, and has provided much help and inspiration to me as well as to my young sister as she died. To walk into the mind and heart of someone who has lived so intimately with God is an incredible joy and a privilege!
