Sri Ram Charita Manas - the Ramayana of Goswami Tulasidas PDf Book
Goswami Tulasidas

Sri Ram Charita Manas (the Ramayana of Goswami Tulasidas) is an epic Indian poem. It was composed by the 16th-century Indian poet, Goswami Tulsidas. Thus is enjoys a unique place among the classics of the world’s literature. For example, Ramayana of Goswami Tulasidas, was considered to be the best work on devotion by Mahatma Gandhi. Therefores the books is universally accepted by all classes of people from Bihar to Punjab and from the Himalayas to the Narmada. According to an old Christian missionary, who is no more in this world, no one could hope to understand the people of Upper India till he had mastered every line that the Ramayana of Goswami Tulasidas had written. From the book:

I greet the pollen-like dust of the lotus feet of my preceptor, refulgent, fragrant and flavoured with love. It is a lovely powder of the life-giving herb, which allays the host of all the attendant ills of mundane existence. It adorns the body of a lucky person even as white ashes beautify the person of Lord Siva, and brings forth sweet blessings and joys. It rubs the dirt off the beautiful mirror in the shape of the devoteeís heart; when applied to the forehead in the form of a Tilaka (a religious mark), it attracts a host of virtues. The splendour of gems in the form of nails on the feet of the blessed Guru unfolds divine vision in the heart by its very thought. The lustre disperses the shades of infatuation, highly blessed is he in whose bosom it shines. With its very appearance the bright eyes of the mind get opened; the attendant evils and sufferings of the night of mundane existence disappear; and gems and rubies in the shape of stories of Rama, both patent and
hidden, wherever and in whatever mine they may be, come to light.

  2. Today is 10 Nov 2019. There is a lot of hullabaloo about building a temple for Shri Siya Ram ji (kindly notice I never forget Sita Maiya).
I don’t own land or ANYTHING in this world, but I will keep Shri Siya Ram in my heart so I will read and try to live upto the standards that are set by Shri Siya Ram …. in fact may Allah give respect to those who seek it, I seek to be a servant of all life forms including humans … with the hope that I will be able to read “dhai akshar prem kay”.

I must mention that I really don’t know if there is some God or God like power/s: I do know that loving my fellow humans makes me stop craving for any intoxicant … muft ki hai ishq ki sharaab.

Kindly don’t even try to imagine that I am appeasing people who call themselves hindus … and I sincerely love Islam after I read Holy Quran (not because I was born to parents who think they are muslims) … I am very promiscuous when it comes to spiritual gurus, I love all as long as they don’t say one human is superior or otherwise to another. Shri Gautam Buddh is a bit more of my favourites … I love all but Zen teachers have me wrapped around their finger.

I do know that possibly all religions might be just imagination … we all live in one lie or another and I have chosen the “lie” that says there is love. Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa ji is my “go to” teacher and Hazrat Muhammed has also purchased my heart.

I so thank you for your efforts. I have nothing of my own left. I would happily pay money, but I am in India and hope you don’t mind that I spend extremely high percentage of my income on personally helping whoever I come across and find that I might get that person’s material or intellectual problems sorted (by grace of Allah) and I QUIETLY WATCH IF THAT PERSON WILL SPREAD LOVE FURTHER … UNFORTUNATELY TILL DATE I HAVE NOT MET A SINGLE LIVING HUMAN WHO SPTEAD LOVE INSTRAD OF PRAISING MY PERSON (I sincerely am not worth ANY praise: love is what gives me some grace, minus that I am a selfish idiot … I swear I am selfish and idiotic if I think on my own: love makes me beautiful so let us accept that love is the real thing to praise NOT at least me).

I will definitely try to bring alive Shri Siya Ram in my heart hope I can build the temple that Shri Siya Ram accepts … Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa taught me to drink from all brewerirs and I do it. I know Allah if existing will help me or anyone who tries to stop hatred by love.

  8. Can you please upload the actual text in devanagari of Tulasi Das Hanuman Chalisa. What I heard is that, to make it easier to pronouce, people from different parts of the country have it their wordings. Like for eg. in some books its written as “Bikata roop” where its actually “vikata rup”..
