Someone traducted in french first 6 pages and it says a lot here : Chapitre I — Le Livre du Vase et du Prêtre (6 premières pages)

My guess is that the were bathing in sap, the images seems to say that, and if you read the 6 first pages seems like the plant came from the vase they talk in there. The part were we see the plants images, seems to be the vase, it would explain those tube part, maybe some sort cylinder that bring the sap to the baths. But why and whats the book is all about I dont know. Theres a link with the number of letters of the words and syllabes if you look at mandala and the number of stars you will see correlation. But I couldnt go further.

The Voynich Manuscript has been deciphered!!!

The Voynich Manuscript is a mysterious illustrated book, handwritten in a system of writing that has remained indecipherable, at least until now. Over the centuries, it has driven scholars crazy, confusing and fascinating linguists, cryptographers, and puzzle enthusiasts alike.

It is considered one of the most elusive manuscripts dating back to the Middle Ages. According to carbon dating results, it dates back to the first half of the 15th century. The skins used to make it come from animals that probably died in the first four decades of the century. Inside, the 15th-century codex contains four treatises: a herbarium, a lunar calendar, a treatise on hydraulic science, and an agronomic treatise.

The manuscript owes its name to Wilfrid Voynich, a Polish-Lithuanian antiquarian and rare book dealer who purchased it in 1912 from the Jesuit college of Villa Mondragone, not far from Rome. The first owner was a collaborator of Holy Roman Emperor Rudolf II, who lived between 1552 and 1612.

The mystery remains as to who wrote it, but it is likely that several authors were involved. There are, however, some clues as to where it was written. Looking at the illustrations, we can see zodiac symbols and the shape of castle walls known as "swallowtail battlements," typical of southern Germanic or northern Italic culture.

The manuscript preserved at Yale University has been a puzzle for scholars around the world for six centuries. This is not a rare case. There are numerous medieval writings that are not immediately understandable. Just think of the so-called Devil's Bible, the largest manuscript of the time, which conceals terrifying enigmas.
Finally deciphered by an Italian: what is written inside

It has always been believed that the reason why the Voynich Manuscript was so cryptic had to do with its content. It has always been suspected that sex and conception were themes addressed within it, particularly in the complex illustrations. Such themes were clearly subject to strict censorship in medieval times.

Among the many scholars who have attempted to provide a clear interpretation of the book, it was an Italian who found the key. The philologist and academic writer Eleonora Matarrese deserves credit for deciphering the manuscript. The researcher first revealed the language used, which corresponds to a Middle High German dialect. From this, she linked the territory of its composition to Carnia.

A valuable aid in achieving this result came from consulting the Gart der Gesundheit herbarium, dated 1486 and kept in the Gortani Museum collection, which was recently restored by the Gorizia Study and Restoration Center. This book has important similarities with the Voynich Manuscript, starting with the language in which it is written. In addition, at the entrance to the Carnic Museum there is part of a fresco depicting the town of Tolmezzo in the 15th century with its castle, walls, and towers, surrounded by a waterway and four female figures in the foreground. One of these figures resembles both the one on page 57v and a woman in the so-called "treatise on water."

So many theories, but none that properly tie together the three covered subjects, i.e. botany, astrology and "women bathing". One possible theory that brings them together is that the manuscript details the use of specific herbs and plants for medicinal use in witchcraft. The parts of the plants and herbs that are to be used for specific diseases and ailments (physical or spiritual) and the actual recipes, plus the nights for each zodiac on which they can be used most effectively (detailed by the star charts), and finally the most effective ways (multiple described, depending on the ailment in question) to carry out ritual bathing in water mixed with prescribed potions for maximum benefit.
The fact that it's illegible is obviously deliberate so the text cannot be deciphered by the uninitiated, or traced back to the original author.
