I am glad you have come to believe in Jesus Christ, but I want to caution you that that Jesus of the The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (LDS), is not the same Jesus of the Bible. It is similar to how the Isa of Islam is not the same Jesus of Christianity. The majority of Christians consider the LDS to be a false religious group. The reason is because Joseph Smith, we belief, was a false prophet, just like Muhammad was. In fact, there is a lot of similarities between the LDS and Islam that should be of great concern to you.

There are many members of the LDS who leave that church when they come to understand the TRUE gospel of Jesus Christ. If you would like to know more I can help point you to the true gospel.

I was watching Ancient Aliens the other day and they mentioned Joseph Smith as receiving the tablets from an alien. I do believe Aliens exist. However, I wasn’t there I don’t know what is true.
The bible was written my men through endless interpretations. To me it is like reading a self help book with great suggestions for living, loving and caring about people. I grew up going to church but in my 30s found a God of my understanding who for me is Energy, Frequency and Vibration. I don’t go to church but pray all the time to my God and ask daily for His will for me.
I also love hearing how other people believe, without being judgmental.
My God wants me to accept all people including what they believe and not be self righteous or act like my God is the only God for everyone.
I have been to many different churches and religions out of curiosity. I have met many loving, kind and caring people.
I believe that’s what God wants for me. To accept and care about people and respect their beliefs what ever they are!
If they are not mine so be it. I can still enjoy wonderful conversations about how and why they decided to follow their path. I believe that is the path God wants us to follow. I have a favorite quote its by Ghandi “Be the change, you want to see in the world”
I start my day with an attitude of gratitude and ask God for His will in my life, to be kind and help another human being when I get the chance. Yes there are mean and bad people in this world. I think Karma or what goes around comes around. I love Louise Hay she says when you take from life, life will take from you and when you give to life, life will give to you. I also believe when my EGO gets in the way of kindness, that is a good acronym for Easing God Out.
This thread seems to me like many people here wanting to right, let go of right and embrace respect and love for our fellow human beings. My God has taught me that through having conversations with people with many different beliefs. No right or wrong, just their perception of a God.

Dear Joseph, to get a wise answer I invite you to follow what Joseph Smith did to find his answer from God directly. I know God is our Father from Heaven and He will guide you as Joseph Smith has been guided. Heavenly Father knows everything, He is the Creator, He allowed the history of the world to be wrote and said by His prophets who lived in bible time and in BOM time. As Lehi, who is a descendant of Abraham and Jacob, testified to his sons:

So, wear the armour of God with your own faith and if you shall ask with a sincere heart, with real intent, having faith in Christ, He [God] will manifest the truth of it unto you, by the power of the Holy Ghost. I know that Book Of Mormon is a gift for heaven who teach me the truth of Gospel. Indeed it is another testament of Jesus Christ and together with the holy bible it testify about the atonement of Jesus Christ, His ministry, the plan of Salvation and also shows me who I am, where I am coming from, why I am here on earth and where I will go after this mortal life. It is comforting me within my daily afflictions and shows me through the Holy Ghost what to do and follow in order to have joy in this life and for eternity according with the God’s will. I invite you to read its words that are God’s words through His disciples, then ponder in your heart&mind its messages, and I promise you that you will be guided by God to receive joy and His blessings even in your affliction time.
