Sri Aurobindo VOL II – Collected Poems
Posted on | July 18, 2010 | 5 Comments
‘Collected Poems’ is the entire production of short poems and narrative poems in English by Sri Aurobindo. This is the second of about 40 volumes that will be published here on Holybooks.com during the coming weeks. This volume consists of sonnets, lyrical poems, narrative poems, and metrical experiments in various forms. All such poems published by Sri Aurobindo during his lifetime are included here, as well as poems found among his manuscripts after his passing. Sri Aurobindo worked on these poems over the course of seven decades. The first one was published in 1883 when he was ten; a number of poems were written or revised more than sixty years later, in the late 1940s. Download the entire ebook here (769 pages, 1,72 MB):

Thanks! It is my pleasure and hobby – and if a bit of insight this way can be shared from my server to someone in need I could not ask for more.

This Life, which seems so fair,
Is like a bubble blown up in the air
By sporting children’s breath,
Who chase it everywhere
