Geometrical Psychology

Geometrical Psychology or the Science of Representation is the result of lifelong studies by the independent spiritual thinker and mathematician Benjamin Betts. I have not read more than the foreword, but this is something different. Benjamin Betts understood evolution as the evolution of man’s consciousness. He attempted to represent the successive stages of evolution by means of symbolical mathematical forms. These forms represent the course of development of human consciousness from the animal basis, the pure sense-consciousness, to the spiritual or divine consciousness. The mathematical forms he expressed, many of them hand-colored, are amazing and the book, written by Louisa S. Cook, suggests that these drawings hold an entire explanation of the spiritual nature of man.
